In celebration of America250, Davidson College Choirs are deeply honored to join the acclaimed American Spiritual Ensemble of Lexington, Kentucky, led by Dr. Everett McCorvey, in a powerful concert of African American spirituals. Presented in tribute to the college’s memorial to honor the lives of enslaved and exploited persons who labored at Davidson, the program invites reflection through music that bears witness, uplifts, and endures. The InChoir Series, started in 2022, brings world class choral performances and experts to the Davidson community.
